Martha entered her new Beacon Hill apartment, she walked around her new home in delight from one room to another.
Martha plugged her dead phone into the wall and waited for the charger to kick in. With no internet or home phone installed yet, this was her only contact to the outside world. Pressing the power button her phone lit back up, revealing an unread text message.
“Casey and Hayes moving company is waiting out side for you.”
In a panic, she ran downstairs, she was able to greet the movers as they placed the metal ramp to the rear of the truck.
The start of her new life was about to begin.
