Target has plans to open an approximately 11,000-square-foot store in Beacon Hill on September 15, 2020
The location, slated for 100 Cambridge St., will be notably smaller than the retailer’s standard, big-box stores — one of the dozens of the “small-format” stores that it intends to roll out across the country.
The new store format is planned in areas where Target’s traditional stores are simply too big to fit, according to the retailer.
My thoughts
I think this will be a nice addition to the Beacon Hill neighborhood.
