Ryan Serhant’s brokerage kicks off national expansion
While other brokerages like Compass Real Estate look inward as they reel from heavy losses amid a correcting market, Serhant is annexing new territory. The two-and-a-half-year-old brokerage in March expanded into six new markets along the East Coast: Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Headquartered in Soho, New York City, the firm was founded by the former “Million-Dollar Listing” star in 2021 and expanded statewide.
Yasser Ponce will manage and lead operations for the South Florida market. He will be joined by Mariana Niro, a top-producing agent formerly of Douglas Elliman and Matt Van Wie from The Keyes Company as founding agents of SERHANT., slated to open later this year.
Christian Prakas formerly of Prakas Real Estate, an independent brokerage, will lead the Palm Beach County communities of Delray Beach and Boca Raton.
In addition, the company has now expanded into Pennsylvania with the addition of the Philadelphia-based Societe Select.
In New Jersey, the firm will be led by former Compass broker Michele Zyska.
In addition to those markets, SERHANT. offices will be located in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Connecticut.
The firm now has more than 300 agents and 90 full-time team members.
