Beacon Hill Home Poem

While “best” is subjective, here’s a poem about Beacon Hill, focusing on the emotional and practical aspects of finding a home:

A weathered lock. a hopeful chance,
The turning key, the brokers glance
To step inside, a world old and new
A place to call my home, its true.

The brick walls, a silent test,
Of dreams and hopes, put to the test.
But with each brick, a story told,
Of lives lived, young and old.

The gaslights beams, a vibrant hue,
A promise whispered, fresh and new.
The light flickers, a gentle grace,
Upon this townhouse this sacred place.

The price is high, the market’s tight,
A Ford Realty agent, a guiding light.
A place to buy, a life to share,
A home to love, beyond compare.

Home Poem

Home is at the end of many pleasant stories
a promise of contented days and hope.
Through battle-tested nations and forgotten allegories,
a truth beyond a sentimental trope.

Home can be a fragile and a momentary thing,
subject to the wills of man and fate–
something worth protecting whether liberal or right-wing,
a dream so quickly compromised by hate.

Home is both eternal and ephemeral, it’s clear.
When soldiers come and batter down the door,
we pray for those who lose their homes in conflicts far and near,
for home is what unites us all, I’m sure.
