We are being warned to shop early. . . or risk not having every little thing our heart’s desire.
I am not buying it. Pun intended.,
I’ve had turkey almost every thanksgiving of my life I skipped it last year because I didn’t visit my parents because of a Covid. I very much regret my decision. Some members of my family roasted turkey, but I couldn’t get anyone to share.
If all I can get this year are hot dogs it won’t bother me at all as long as I see my parents on Thanksgiving and Christmas
As for food and gifts, this season, none of it is an emergency. If I can’t find something its no big deal. Thanksgiving is about being thankful for what we have and sharing it with those who have less. Scarcity is a frame of mind. Nothing to be scared about
