Smatha sighed as she kicked closed the apartment front door and placed her mail next to the couch. She poured herself a glass of wine and gazed out of her Beacon Hil apartment window. As she sat on the couch viewing her mail she kicked off her high heal shoes onto the wooden floor. Samatha’s hands were still trembling and she began to rub her wrist, rembering the arguement she had with Thomas on his polictical choice for the presidential election. Smatha was sure she could change Tom’s mind, but in the end she failed.
After finishing her glass of wine she wandered to the bedroom, she needed a lie down to shake off the recent political arguement. She laied on the bed, pulling the covers around her when she was startled by the sound of the click of a key turning the Beacon Hill door slamming shut and. She raced to the door, frantically calling out Tom, Tom, is it you?’
“Yes,” Tom responded. Did you here who won the election? She looked in horror waiting for his response.
