In my previous Boston real estate blog posts, I wrote about low inventory and bidding wars for homes for sale in Massachusetts and with a high demand for homes, there are numerous opportunities for sellers.
Downtown Boston Real Estate
But here’s the thing, there are also opportunities for homebuyers too, especially for downtown Boston real estate for sale. Both downtown high rise condos and traditional historic Beacon Hill homes for sale have at least a 4 month supply of homes for sale, where the rest of the metro area has 1 or 2 month supply.
There are some great opportunities in downtown Boston where it is still possible to buy a condo without getting into a multiple offer situation. It is even possible to buy for less than the asking price.
Boston Real Estate and the Bottom Line
But don’t get too excited downtown Boston real estate is still an expensive market but it is weakening. There are opportunities in every housing market
