Tenant’s Development Corp is about to begin a fifteen-month project to bring 100 units within 20 Victorian rowhouses back to life, in the South End.
The project will include the restoration of the buildings’ exteriors, including the masonry, roofs, windows, and mechanical systems.
Since there are few architectural details left in the buildings’ interiors following renovation work done in the 1970s, only interior hallways will be revamped to preserve handrails and other turn-of-the century details.
Several of the properties are located on Mass Ave, including the building at 508 Massachusetts Avenue.
