Children’s Hospital discloses plans for new Fenway housing development project
It looks as though the Fenway / Kenmore area is the next hot neighborhood, if recent announcements are any indication.
The latest project has been floated by Children’s Hospital to build a mixed-use housing and parking project on land they currently own in the Fenway.
The article doesn’t discuss the specific location of the land, but I think it’s back behind where the Boston Beerworks building is, near the Harvard Pilgrim building. Could be wrong.

One of Boston’s most powerful hospitals is quietly laying plans for a large housing and parking complex a short walk from Fenway Park, according to executives familiar with the planning.
Children’s Hospital is in discussions with City Hall on plans to redevelop a parking lot it has long owned near Fenway into what could be hundreds of residential units and a 650-car garage, executives said.
The hospital is a major player on both the city’s medical and development scene, with its board headed by influential developer Stephen Karp.
A hospital spokeswoman confirmed that Children’s has begun preliminary plans to redevelop the site, but declined to discuss the details of those plans
