A short story about last weekend.
Have you ever been with a group of guys sharing a pitcher on beer? And ask yourself, how did we get started on this conversation?
Here’s what started it all …
10 min after ordering a pitcher of beer… Someone suggested ordering another pitcher
My doctor friend (optimist) says the pitcher is half full.
My lawyer friend (pessimist) says the pitcher is half empty.
The physical training coach (who is this guy, who invited him?) says the pitcher is twice as big as it needs to be. Huh?
The engineer (realist) says the pitcher contains half the required amount of liquid for it to overflow.
And the construction worker (cynic) … wonders who drank the other half.
The Boston real estate broker (Me) Thinks… it’s not about whether the pitcher of beer is half full or half empty, it’s about who is paying for the next round.
Moral of this Story:
Fill your glass with optimism and be happier, healthier, and wealthier.
