According to last week’s Herald:
Boston will soon have its first three-star Michelin chef.
French culinary superstar Guy Martin is in Boston tomorrow to announce the opening of restaurant Sensing at the new Regent Hotel on Battery Wharf in the North End late this spring.
Martin owns a restaurant by the same name in Paris, near Luxembourg Gardens. He first drew international attention in 1991 when he was tapped by the Taittinger family of Champagne fame to run Le Grand Vefour at Le Palais Royal in central Paris, a position he continues to hold today.
The Battery Wharf development will include 104 condominium units, a 150-room hotel, a spa, a marina, the aforementioned restaurant, outdoor seating for drinking and dining, and plenty of parking for owners and guests.
The first closings are temporarily scheduled for late-February / early-March.
