Boston condo broker and thoughts about Capitalist Santa
Boston condo broker and thoughts about Capitalist Santa
When I was young kid, I remember you wouldn’t see Santa stores specials until Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.
Last week I went to both Home Depot and Lowes and both had Santa and Christmas Trees as you enter the store.
I remember a story about a woman who would buy stuff because it was on sale or because she had a coupon. It was all about the lower price not about what she needed. That is kind of what Christmas is turning into.
Buying stuff and sales. Most of what is purchased isn’t needed and much of it isn’t wanted. Santa always encourages us to spend, and he is everywhere. If you’re going to spend money om gifts, support the merchants at the Seaport District.
Lets not forget Christmas is about the birth of Jesus.
Its alright to buy gifts for friends and love ones, but its more important to share a meal to the ones that are important in your life.
