Beacon Hill Rental Agents trip to NY

The Beacon Hill agent packed his knap sack and proceeded to lower his arms to put on his shoulder straps, with bag firmly on his back he left his Beacon Hill apartment. While exiting the building he looked for his Charlie Card as he walked towards the Redline to catch the Amtrak train to NY.

The agent left before dawn, hoping to beat the snowstorm. This was one of the rare occasions that he was visiting his parents that wasn’t a holiday or birthday. 

When the Beacon Hill agent arrived, Mom gave him hot chocolate and cake. Dad grouses there’s no liquor in the cocoa. He complains often, Mom says. Yet holding a bottle of Jameson whisky, his father’s frown becomes a smile.

Before leaving, the Beacon Hill agent gave a big hug to his parents tightly, reluctant to part.

A week later, he heard his father fell, the Beacon Hill agent was in deep thought and was torn to stay in Beacon Hill or move to NY to help his elderly parents.
