Good news for Beacon Hill condo owners and Beacon Hill apartment renters who own bikes, the city could add bicycle lanes to Charles Street, part of a range of street upgrades that officials will consider for Beacon Hill and other downtown Boston real estate neighborhoods.
The city hopes to make busy arteries like Charles, Cambridge and Beacon Street safer to bikers and walkers.
