This is a story about a Boston Seaport condo broker and business cards

Last weekend, I was sitting at a bar in the Seaport, I couldn’t help to over hear the conversation next to me. At one point in the the conversation she asked “What field of work are you in?”

I’ve noticed women have to like the job of the guy they’re with.

Men know this.

That’s why we’ve invented the phony, bogus names for their business cards. Mine for example, could be Executive CEO of Ford Realty Inc. (Of a four person office)

This particular guy at the Seaport bar told her “Right now I’m managing regional development of systems. What about you?”

I needed to know what the hell does regional blah blah mean, so I ordered another beer.

But here’s the thing, if a man is physically attracted to a woman it’s not really important what her job is.

Oh you work at a Slaughter house in Brockton.

That sounds great, must be interesting with all that blood.

Would you like to meet up again next weekend for a drink? Perhaps for a Bloody Mary.
