A story about a Boston condo broker who is guilt tripping

This morning started off like any other Saturday. I was sitting at the table with Mona in silence eating my frosted cornflakes, while she was eating some healthy food, I think its called fruit.

Suddenly the silence was interrupted.

Mona: “John, I think today would be a good day for leaf raking. What do you think?”

Me: “I really should go to my Beacon Hill office, I might have some apartment showings.”

Mona: “Really?”

Me: “Okay, I’ll call one my agents to cover for me, and I’ll do some leaf raking.”

I don’t know what it is, she has a canning ability to make me feel guilty. I’m dreading what will happen tomorrow because the Patriots have a morning football game, the same time we’re suppose to go to church.
