This is a story about renting a Boston apartment to a young married couple.
A while back, I had the pleasure of renting a Boston Beacon Hill apartment to happy newlyweds.
Fast forward one year…
The marriage bliss didn’t last very long. One day, this conversation pursued: “We had a heated argument”, the wife calls her mother. “He fought with me again! I’m coming over to live with you.”
To which her mother replies, “No, no, darling. He must pay for his mistake. I’m coming to live with you in your one-bedroom apartment on Charles Street.”
