A Boston condo broker trying to decipher his hospital bill
Finally I had some downtime after doing some home chores. I could have spent my free time watching Hulu or hanging out at the local tavern and cracking jokes with fellow Boston real estate agents. Instead, I decided to open my mail. The first envelop I opened up was a hospital bill, first I was nervous, but I saw at the bottom that the insurance covered all the costs.
What is interesting is trying to decipher the billing codes doctors used to denote your visit for insurance companies. So I Googled what the code stood for, I must say, some of these medical codes are ridiculous. Such as “Y93.D!: Stabbed while crocheting.” I hope I never read his one on my medical bill Y 91.D4 “Hit by a car when exiting a bus.”
