A Beacon Hill home and finding life is full of changes
The last box was deposited in the spare bedroom. John and Laura, his wife, and his mom and dad gathered in the kitchen to enjoy some hot cocoa and snacks, grateful that the moving was done.
They hadn’t expected that they would all be living together at this point in their lives. His mom and dad were newly retired, and John and Laura had two young children. It would be crowded but with Beacon Hill apartment rents so expensive, inflation so high, it was the only option.
John had never imagined that his parents would need to move in with them in their new Arlington MA home.
