Apparently, the MBTA is still considering extending the Silver Line along Charles Street South, or somewhere near there.
The idea is (in case you haven’t been paying attention over the past nineteen years), the Silver Line bus line that goes down Washington Street in the South End will travel by tunnel between some point on Tremont / Washington to South Station, where it will continue on to the Airport. Much better than the current trip which involves … I don’t know, but I think I saw Plymouth Rock outside my window, last time I went to Logan.
Props to the MBTA leaflet writer who alerts us to the news that testing will continue to June 31st.
Which is just a week or two after June umpteenth, I believe.
