From the South End News:
Harrison Avenue may be seeing more art galleries in the very near future, with the proposed renovation of 464 Harrison Ave., a massive and long-empty warehouse that runs nearly the length of Thayer Street. John Kiger of GTI Properties confirmed on Monday that the development company is currently making plans to refurbish the building as gallery and art studio space.
“There’s high energy in art-land right now,” Kiger said, adding that while the SoWa neighborhood already has a high concentration of art studios and galleries, there’s been quite a bit of interest in more. “We are proceeding to make more gallery space available.”
