The MBTA has announced that renovation of the Kenmore subway station won’t be completed until the fall of 2007, at the earliest.
The T said that the original completion date was scheduled for January, 2007, although area residents are sure that the project was promised to be done by mid-2006.
The renovation of the station began in March, 2005.
(And, for those of you keeping track, the rebuilding of Cambridge Street is STILL not completed – traffic signals are not working, the brickwork is not done, etc.).
