A Beacon Hill brokers birthday story

For my first time readers, please let me introduce myself. My name is John Ford, I’ve been a Boston Beacon Hill real estate broker for over 25 years. I’ve recently moved to Winchester, and became a member St. Eulalia church

Here’s the Beacon Hill Birthday story;

It all started when I met Debbie ( not her real name) many years ago, she was a single mom that was down on her luck, as she was trying to cope with her drug addiction.

One day, I was doing volunteer work at a Boston soup kitchen, when Debbie asked me if I can help her buy a house for her daughter.

I told her the truth, that it was a big ask, and I can’t help her until she overcomes her drug addiction issues first. I told her to contact my friend at the Meta Addiction Treatment Center.

Fast forward from that encounter, she contacted Meta Addiction Center, and was making progress in overcoming her addiction. She also began saving money toward buying a house.

Due to her efforts to try to overcome her addiction, I wanted to show her encouragement, so we started viewing houses online. Her efforts were worth it, finally she was able to save enough for the perfect house for her daughter.

On the day of her daughter’s birthday, the mother and daughter hugged each other and they both teared up.

“Happy Birthday, Sally!”

And with a loving voice her daughter said,

“Oh Mummy, my very own doll house. Thank you.”
