Short story of 3 guys in a Seaport condo
About a month ago, my friend Keith and I went to Jimmy’s Seaport condo. The three of us were sitting around the kitchen table discussing what to do over the weekend, since the ladies were going out.
Keith said, “Let’s go hiking”
Jimmy said, “I was in the army for 10 years, the last thing I want to do is go hiking, it will bring back bad memories of my drill sergeant. We can go on my boat”
Keith said, It’s too cold, plus I was in the Navy for 20 years. The last thing I’d want to do is be on the water in this cold weather, I have bad memories from the Navy.
“I can relate,” I said with a self-deprecating smile. ” After working 20 years as Boston Beacon Hill broker, the last thing I want to do this Saturday is to hang out at a Beacon Hill pub, or a Back Bay restaurant.”
