Boston real estate broker complaint about the Green Line
This is a funny story about a Back Bay real estate agent complaining about the Green line train service.
Let me start from the beginning, its Saturday late afternoon, I’m having a beer at the end of a slow day. Next to me sitting at the bar is another real estate agent, who recognized me and a conversation pursued.
Back Bay Agent: John, have you been on the Greenline T recently?
Me: Can’t say I have.
Back Bay Agent: Train service is so bad I even emailed the MBTA to complain about it.
Me: What did you say?
Back Bay Agent: Here you can read it, *He hands me his cell phone.
Passenger Complaint -Funny Train Story
The following is allegedly an exchange of correspondence between an irate customer and the Greenline MBTA. Kindly sent in by a Back Bay condo agent.
I have been riding your Greenline trains daily for the last two years, and the service on your T line seems to be getting worse every day. I am tired of standing in the aisle all the time. I think the transportation system is worse than that enjoyed by people 2,000 years ago.

We received your email reference to the shortcomings of our service and believe you are somewhat confused in your history. The only mode of transportation 2,000 years ago was by foot.

I am in receipt of your email, and I think you are the ones who are confused in your history .If you will refer to the Bible and the Book of David, 9th Chapter, you will find that Balaam rode to town on his ass. That, gentlemen, is something I have not been able to do in the last two years!
