I was at a family function this weekend. It was one of these big functions at a golf resort.

As I waited at the bar for a drink, I heard two females talking to each other how someone they knew aged.

We want it so badly for it not to happened to us.

We’ll talk about other people like,

“Boy, he got old.”

Just that particular guy.

Nobody else.

As if time is like the Boson mob syndicate, just putting a hit on certain people.

Speaking of aging, It seems like every birthday we say,

Well … you’re getting up there.”

To what age does that go on till?

This year my father turns 91.

I think I’m going to say

“You’re … there

Dad you-are-there-now'”
