A Short story about summer vacation
“Honey? Where should we go on vacation?” Mona asked.
The Beacon HIll Broker shrugged. “Beats me. What would make you happy?”
Mona thought. She was burned out on traditional vacation destinations like the Cape Cod, the New Hampshire mountains, and so on. She was ready to expand her horizons, to go somewhere exciting and daring.
“I’m not sure,” she admitted. “But I want to branch out. Try something off the beaten path.”
“Hey–that reminds me.” The Beacon Hill broker smiled. “I saw an interesting ad yesterday.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“This restarurant is offering discounts for lunch and dinner. You in?”
Mona grinned. “We haven’t been for, what three months? Sign me up!”
Off they went to the Boston Seaport District.
