Boston Real Estate
Here we are on the last day of November and it’s Cyber Monday. My thought for the day, don’t click or buy anything it sounds too good to be true.
In the last week, there has been a large drop in the number of Boston condos up for sale. There has been a fewer number of Beacon Hill condo on the market that have gotten offers. That means that the number of Beacon Hill condos for sale has dropped from a low to a lower low. If that makes sense.
The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is the slowest time of the year for home sales in the downtown Boston real estate market. The worsening pandemic is likely to make it a little slower than usual.
When I say slow I mean really slow, the average amount of time it takes to sell Boston real estate will increase and will remain so during the holidays.
Only the most motivated Boston condo buyers and sellers buy or sell in December. Historically home prices are the lowest for the year in December.
Today is Cyber Monday. Please be careful about clicking on the links in those spammy emails. If something on a shopping site looks too good to be true it might be because it isn’t true.
