The top ten list was mostly West Coast cities. On the East Coast; Boston, Phildelphia and New Orleans made the top of the list. According to Zillow, those who held on to a property in the top cities walked away with a 78% gain on sale, or about $235,000. Astonishingly, this is after owning real estate for only 7-10 years.
