Boston real estate: third quarter high-end sales report
A comparison of year-to-date (through 9/30) high-end single-family and condominium sales in the city of Boston for 2008, 2007, and 2006.
Many new-development sales are not included in the data. These sales were direct between developer and buyer, bypassing the local Multiple Listing Service.
Meaning, actual sales volume was higher, for all three years.
Also, 2008 numbers aren’t final, as the data was collected on the 30th and agents may continue updating MLSPIN with information, over the coming days.
The Suffolk Deeds website has complete sales information.
