The West End, re-envisioned
Charlie on the MTA has unleashed a brash proposal for re-developing the West End into a healthy, vibrant neighborhood.

Or, as he puts it:
My proposal is to re-establish a dense urban neighborhood of narrow streets, low-rise (3 to 4 story) residential w/ground-floor retail at some street corners, and vest-pocket parks and small playgrounds. The existing high-rises would remain, but absorbed into the dense urban fabric.
