Kendall Square is an awesome place to live and work, in my opinion. Not very convenient to a supermarket, but, otherwise, you’ve got the best of all worlds. Easy walking distance to work, downtown Boston, the movies, the Charles River, the mall. Just about everything.

The Globe ran a syndicated column today from some columnist talking about landlord rights.
The information he provided was incorrect, on both accounts, at least in Massachusetts.

The Globe is reporting that Simon Properties, owners of Copley Place, in the Back Bay, have floated the idea of building a new residential tower, behind the existing Westin Hotel.
The company is also considering expanding the flagship Neiman-Marcus department store.
