Old neighbors greet new developments in East Boston

East Boston has always seemed quite remote to most people. Either that, or people thought of it as one big airport (which is kind of is, isn’t it?).
There are many new developments going up in East Boston. As well, many triple deckers are being converted into condos. You can find single family homes, as well. I sold a 1000 square foot single family to someone last year, for $275,000.
New projects include Porter 156, Pier One, the Hodge Boiler Works and Clippership Wharf.
