The building was originally rehabbed into apartments; the building was then bought and converted into condos. Today’s announcement ensures that Fan Pier will finally become a realityGreat news out today about possible development of Fan Pier. Apparently, developer Joe Fallon and a subsidiary of Mass Mutual Life Insurance have joined forces to purchase the land, presumably to build housing, and maybe commercial and/or office space.
