U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development guidelines recommend
that a household pay no more than 30 percent of its income on housing.
Here are the top ten states where people spend more than 30% of their income on housing.

If you have tried to book a room at a Cape Cod guesthouse or a B&B, this summer, you may have encountered difficulty in finding a place to stay. The reason is, many of these small inns are being sold, and turned into single-family homes or condos.

The Glass Factory Condominiums is a brand-new development, across the street from the Lechmere Green Line subway station, convenient to downtown Boston. The building was originally rehabbed into apartments; the building was then bought and converted into condos.

Great news out today about possible development of Fan Pier. Apparently, developer Joe Fallon and a subsidiary of Mass Mutual Life Insurance have joined forces to purchase the land, presumably to build housing, and maybe commercial and/or office space.
Fallon is already heavily involved in the area and this looks like a good strategic fit.
